It recently dawned on me that a great thing about

being self-employed is that I get to quote Bachman-

Turner Overdrive: Look at me I’m self-employed / I

love to work at nothing all day. I also realized that the

best thing about being self-employed is saying “self-

employed.” It goes along with all those other words:

self-contained

self-expression

self-reliant

self-righteous

self-destructive

self-maintained

self-abuse

self-aware

self-absorbed
