check email, write email
make another pot o’joe.
bagel, cream cheese, candy bar
football scores.

read editorials
run to liquor store
drop timecard in mail.
drink diet cola,
send card to your brother,
think about calling home.

somehow
during this day:
two pages on Metallica
finish essay on class,
revise some poems,
plot your next conquest.
